help. leaking flat roof.

could anyone advise me as to what type of roofing material to use on a small flat roof? have read on boards that pvc roofing gets the thumbs up and that epdm would do? anybody have any good advice with this? also what kind of price range am i looking at? roof is 7" by 6".
