I am not a noobie, and should already know this. :o I have being intending to ask for a while.

In a long post, how do you isolate snippets and comment on them ?

    Hit the button with the
    ''+

on it, beside QUOTE for the post you want to quote and when you reach the last post you wish to repeast also hit QUOTE and they will all appear. :)

    Thanks for replying guys :)

I know how to multi quote different posts, but does this work when you want to quote different parts of the same post ? For instance, to isolate the first sentance, post a comment, isolate a section further on, post a comment etc, all in the same post.

I tried to multi quote the same post recently using the +" method to no avail and had to cancel the post, as my comment came out as a quote.

    Thanks for that Mike. :)

Is there a "how to.." section on "boards" ??

If not how do you and others know how to do it ?? It's not obvious to me anyway (how to multi quote the same post).

I need to brush up on my computer skills. :D

    Single quote:

    Thanks.
Split / Multi quote:

    [
    quote=Rigsby;63763938]What am I doing wrong guys ??

Thanks.
I copy/pasted
and
to split the quote.

(I put the first [ of each quote in bold so they don't appear as actual quotes.)
