My friend is getting a new phone and says he will give me his e51

Just wondering is this a decent phone? The main thing I want it for is wifi, I travel a bit and this would be handy for checking things in airports etc. I am currently using a Samsung Tocco Lite - would the e51 be classed as better than this?

Also, is it difficult for him to get the unlock code from Vodafone these days? He has spent a lot of money on credit so that shouldn't be a problem, but do they make you jump through hoops for it or will they just give it to him over the phone?

If hes giving it to you, just take it try and keep it if you like it.

Its more of a traditional business phone, than a multimedia phone.

My E51 had better WiFi reception than my current Nokia 5800 - ie could reliably get onto WiFi while further from the router.
The screen is quite small for doing a lot of browsing but fine for checking a few things here and there.
Excellent phone for just making calls.
    Some buttons a bit small.
