Ok people what is the story with eircom and piracy so if u illegal download a file
how will eircom know u downloaded and are they monitoring people who visit these sites commonly and what does a proxy hidder do and does it work?




This relates to anybody that uses bittorrent clients and download movies audio from such sites like btjunkie isohunt piratebay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look, that is imposible...

Ireland, lets say is having 4mil people, lets say half is using internet, and half of that is downloading illegal things...
So count, how many operators Eircom will need to cover so many customers...
:):)

Same thing with music...
They said they will ban customers that r downloading music over torrents..
What happened?
Nothing...
Same old same old..
People r still download music, maybe even more now..
Why?
Because is recession, because Eircom will have to terminate and loose lots of customer which would be a big minus to them..
For Conclusion:
They dont care pretty much...

listen i was offensive for a reason it might come to u as harsh but the board website allows users to create thread hence me creating a thread and then u questioned the www.board.ie privileges for users to create a thread containing useful info for fellow members!

Exactly my point there are plenty of threads on this subject if you just bothered reading them rather than starting new ones every time you have a question. And to quote yourself userful is the key word, yours be the opposite of this.

u say every time this is my second thread and plus old threads are out of date people (members) want to see new info about the (X) Topic so (X) number of members can see the useful UPDATED info and i use !!!!!! to emphasis the importance of the topic subject ect. please send me a private message if u wish to reply
