Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

applets not running

    Hi

I am currently getting ready for exams next week. I am looking over economics. There is a CD which came with the book and there is an interactive part to it. It requires that Java and Flash plug-in are on my computer. Both of which have been installed and the CD indicates that both are there also. Whenever I go to use an applet a blank square appears were the interactive chart should be. I then wait a minute and still nothing. When I navigate to a new window and then back to the previously blank square, it is now filled with whatever was on the last window that I was on…. if any of that makes sense.

Have gone to Java’s website and checked to see if it is running ok on my computer and it is. I have also disabled any pop-up blockers and checked my browser to allow java run.

Anyone come across this type of problem.

Cheers- to get this working will make understanding the subject far easier (I hope!)
My computer is an inspiron with Microsoft xp
