Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help with the following problem. I have been using windows vista for the past year with no problems. I successfully download ITunes having received an IPod for Christmas. However, when I try to start up my laptop again I receive the following pop up error message " Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - This app has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way."
The laptop is fairly new and has plenty of free space.

The only way I can get the laptop to start up is in safe mode and then restoring to the day before I downloaded ITunes. However, I really want to use the IPod and don't know what the problem is.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks.

what other software have you loaded on the laptop? IE Music matchbo or mcafee etc.
Quick often this type of error is due to a clash between 2 programs.

Is the OS fully up to date?

I would make sure all mandatory updates are applied and review the optional updates, before creating a system restore point manually and then installing itunes
