Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Swapping Parts on scrappage cars

    Was just thinking there about an idea. Maybe adverts.ie could set up a section for people who are scrapping cars who could pass on parts to people who aren't. After all the car just needs to be driving to be scrapped. Things like seats, glove copartments, boot/bonnet lids lights ect. Then people who are holding on to their old cars would be able to get better parts for free or a small amount.

    Good idea?
    Bad idea?

    Would be a good idea to save all the high end spec stuff being scrapped when the owners could get a few extra shillings for it before cashing in the car.
