I was wondering if there is a source for sleds anywhere in Ireland?
I am looking for a proper wooden sled, the kind that can be steered with your feet/hands.
Like the old fashioned flexible flyer...

I was up Keeper Hill at the weekend and there was/is plenty of snow/packed ice.

In Dublin you could try Snow and Rock in Dundrum SC.

thanks, i might try ring them.

they have a sledge on their website, but i tried that in Austria and you are taking your life in your hands trying to ride that down an icy mountain, no steering!

I'm looking for one as well, but i'd settle for a cheap plastic one. I was out on new years day and there was loads of kids with the plastic ones so they must sell them somewhere!???
