Hi Folks I have been approved for a mortgage with AIB with a variable rate of 2.45% on a new build. Do any of you know who is giving the best rates or is this as good as it gets.

That's not a bad rate at all, just to give you an idea of what some competitors are offering here is an online rate sheet for Bank of Ireland, EBS, PTSB and Ulster bank. It might be worth your while to shop around, some of those rates might not be up to date.
