Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No power on my Canon 40d

    Hi all,

    My Canon 40d has now power when tried to switch it on, my battery is OK, tried other battery but still no power, removed the card and battery and tried it again still no power.

    Has anybody encountered the same problem ?

    check the battery contacts in camera that they are not damaged or bent

    Is the memory card door closing and clicking in ok?

    +1 on mem door. Had this issue on my old 350D

    Thanks guys, I did tried all that, I actually borrowed another camera and test my battery and it works, yes the door is closing properly and no bent on the battery contacts.

    Called canon already they have given me their authorised camera dealer.

    I have doubt it was caused my gorillapod, caused every time I attached it my camera the power just shut down. . .

    Will see . . .
