Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

faulty ventilation in car

    Hi
I have a 00 renault megane and when condensation builds up on the inside of windscreen my ventilation is literally useless at clearing it. I now use a cloth to clear it which can be dangerous when driving!

When i have it on full setting there doesnt seem to be much air coming out of it (vents at bottom of windscreen). My father checked under bonnet for any blockages of leaves or dirt and couldnt find any.
What could be causing this and how can it be fixed? Am i better off bringing to a garage?

Most likely a blocked pollen filter.

Seen this on a few different cars.

Take out the pollen filter altogether and see if this helps.
Should be easy to pick one up if any motor factors or halfords.

Assuming the fan's still working, it sounds like a dirty/blocked pollen filter to me. Replacement is no big deal, if you're in any way handy you could do it yourself.

Is it just the windscreen vents that are not working right? ie do you get full blast on any of the other settings when you have the windscreen selected? If you do it could be a physical issue with the selector.
