    Woodsball Walk-on -- Saturday January 16th

    The first event of the Twenty-Tenies is here and its a woodsball outing - A Battlebridge Paintball walk on. Battlebridge are open about 9 months now and this is the first time that PaintBaller.ie checking it out. They are based in Roscommon, you can find them on the Paintball Map here.

    A walk-on event is where you literally walk on with your own equipment. You own all your own playing gear such as markers, masks, tanks etc. It is this fact that makes the walk-ons work as there is no cleaning up afterwards of gear for the site. If you are interested in attending, then check out this thread for for people offering gear and those needing it.

    Price
    €40 is your green fee. This gets your access to the site, pays the marshals and gets you the air fills for the day.

    Paint
    €50 is the price of a box of paint - 2000 paintballs OR
    BYOP - Bring Your Own Paint i.e. if you have paint left over or can get it cheaper from any of the local retailers.

    Accommodation
    Can be organised if needed for those who are travelling from a far.

    General
    If you have any questions about the event or if you are attending, then post a reply here. We will be playing amongst out selves for a while and then we will take on the Battlebridge staff for a few games to see how they do it in the West.

    Transport can be arranged if you are stuck. Thee is usally lifts being offered that you can avail of, car pooling etc. Keep an eye out for threads on that if you need it.

    It will be a great chance to check out the woodsball scene in Ireland and to try out some gear. The Tippmann Phenom will be on show for you to try out also. It will also be a chance to try out using some proper woodsball positions.
