well my bro doesn't see snow IN Malahide, but he can see it (what looks like it, maybe a mixture of snow/sleet/rain) FROM Malahide (attic room from a house on a hill, we can see as far as donabate)

Well what we have here in Donabate is definitely snow, but very light as in Lusk. However, latest satellite pictures show the main band has yet to hit us. The report from Balbriggan would seem to square up with everything else that's been said.

Sleet now turned to wet snow here, nearly there:)

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,235 ✭✭✭lucernarian

Seeing as I can no longer make out where I live from all the yellow and green:p can those viewers living in the wee county post the amount of lying snow when it finishes? I'm going to have to make do with Dublin's snow hehe.

In other news, the comma LP/ pseudo-polar thingy that's travelled down from Norway seems to be shunting off to the western seaboard .

Also, and more seriously, there seems to be significant convection showing up on satellite with its targets squarely set on Kerry. I don't exactly know temps down there but it seems heavy falls of sleet or snow are likely.

Yes that is odd Duff that you aint got no snow yet but you know it's not doing much here at the mo. In fact I can hear a the snow falling through the hedge. Thats not good is it. Must snow of the wet kind.
