Cold Spell Discussion: Widespread Snow Expected Overnight/Tuesday

New thread folks for the developing situation. Cold Front (Midnight) Situation at the moment is that a cold front is currently moving south through Scotland and is visible off the North coast of Ireland. It will track south over the coming hours and should reach the Northern NI by midnight, it will then track south…

Just stepped out. What's coming down in Donabate is pretty wet, a bit of a mixture of hail, sleet and snow, maybe even the odd raindrop. I expect it'll turn properly to snow. Surfaces are turning white.

snow in Enfield now :Donly reason I know is because the Sky signal is after loosing the plot a little bit!!! :mad: and I looked out window !!

Is there any reports from Kerry as to what's going on?? If you look at the last hour on http://www.yr.no/satellitt/1.5941760 there's plenty of cloud formation going on, and these are tall clouds (they bubbled up out of lower cloud moving SSW off the coast.

I think that they're going to be rain events after checking more charts, but reports would be nice.;)
