Walthamstow Market is just the spot longest street market in Europe and a shoppinmg centre right alongside. http://www.walthamforest.gov.uk/index/environment/walthamstow-market.htm and http://www.themall.co.uk/my-mall/walthamstow/index.aspx

Why the need to be close to WHL?

Let her shop in central London and meet her after the game, you'll be no more than an hour away, and half of that is the walk back to Seven Sisters.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre? Every shop she'll want to be found there.

Get the 102 bus from Edmonton (Angel Corner), which is only a 10 min walk from WHL, and it will take her all the way to Brent Cross.

Then again depending on where you are staying, Oxford Street or Westfield might be a better option.

She won't want to buy too much, there's not room for bags when you're in your seat!

TBH, if she's going in with you I'd be more inclined for the two of you to get a nice bite to eat somewhere central before travelling up to WHL, much better way of killing time.

Or have a think about a walk around Covent Garden for a while then Picadilly Line to Kings X and Victoria Line from there to Seven Sisters.

Do the shopping in Central London, leave the gear in the hotel, and then off to the Lane. Take it from experience, you dont her, or you for that matter, worrying about carrying shopping bags around the lane.
