Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok, so I've been poking around a bit online and in shops in Dub and I've narrowed down to two choices.
Long story short the Canon sx200is for 350 inc 4g card or the Fuji S2000 for 250 inc bag, 2gb card.
Now, the salesman in pixels told me that the Canon is a better camera but in his opinion not 100 euro better.
I did a side by side comparison on dp and checked out the amazon pages of both. Ok, the dp does show the Canon to be better but considering I want it mainly for landscapes and nature (and I'm only starting off!) I think the Fuji presents better value for money. It was mainly positive reviews for both on amazon and the problems owners highlighted don't sound like anything deal breaking for either.

Or maybe the guy was just trying to get rid of stock!

Anyhow, any opinion at all would be good.
    Thanks. :)

for landscape they'll really be much the same, neither would be great for shooting wildlife

i'd go for the canon as it's smaller. if you don't mind the size i'd ignore both and get something like a secondhand Canon 350D which would be massively better

I'm also looking at the s2000hd, have a Nikon F60 looking for something comparable but smaller and obviously digital. Could I expect similar pics?
