Pixmania and Komplett are having some good bargains. Obviously pixmania is the cheapest. You can get a 500 GB hard drive for about 70 euro including shipping.

You can get a 500GB Iomega USB powered for 79 euro in Peats.

Nice little unit.

They also have the 500gb powered ones for 59 euro.

I got usb powered seagate one in easons for 89 euro ,it was 1tb .

I find Argos good for this sort of thing.

I also bought 2 x 1Tb Seagate drives.

With the 500gb I got a free 2Gb USB stick. With each of the 1Tb drives, I got a free 4Gb USB stick.

Pretty good, IMHO.

PCWorld had some WD 1TB drives before Christmas for €80 (Cork Branch) - would imagine they have some cheaper now

Not usb powered if memory serves. Have to plug them in.
