    Lots of flakes of snow now in Castleknock, large ones, but guess what...the cloud is already breaking up....what a joke!:(

    I am happy to upgrade to 'Snowing moderately in Dublin City Centre'. Seems to be hail mixed in with the snow.

    maybe this is just false optimism, but on the radar animation it looks as if those snow showers that were in the north are heading south ( towards the midlands) at a very fast rate. Any chance of snow from there??

    Just had a look out and theres been a shower of snow in the past hour in Carrickmacross, the place is white, and its so fluffy!

    On a different note a friend in Edinburgh was saying the shops are running out of table salt today!
