if those on the east liked what they saw on the 1030 radar, they will love what they see on the 1045.

    Black Briar?

Are you heading for a dumping!!?
pelting down here at the moment and it would blind you in the wind when you face into it!
total white out :) topping up the couple of inches already there nicely!

Some of the snowflakes falling here are massive - bigger than a £2 coin :D

It really looks like the NE wind is taking hold (the one we were supposed to have last night) on the other side of the Irish Sea - if that big streamer in the Irish Sea keeps extending nortwards as it is, I would say it will get blown onto the east coast later.

I am sitting here looking at blue skies and still not a flake, went for a drive earlier and could see all the snow clouds sitting a few miles away.

Very frustrating, am not going to look at any more charts either!

Oh I like that chart. Would surely see some snow in Waterford if that came off, right? :pac: Hope the HIRLAM is right here...haven't seen a flake yet!

IF HIRLAM had been right this week we'd already be snowed in
Like me you know it won't happen ;)

Fairly hefty snow showers in Ballyfermot. And it's sticking.

Latest updates suggest increased activity with that trough over Northeast England earlier obviously having an effect on the Irish sea.

Fairly heavy snow in D 15 at the moment :D

I'm just off McKee Avenue. Has been a nightmare to walk on for the best part of a week now.

Did enjoy the snow though :)

Turned to more of a sleet towards the end. Got cold again and just looks like the same icy conditions outside. Sun is actually shining here now.

I dunno about that, the only time I've seen it show precip over Waterford was for very light snow Monday night but in the end it died out before getting that far south.

Fingers crossed we get something from this in the afternoon...

There should be snow along much of the East coast barring a disaster, a few cm's coverage likely.

Looking at this chart, it looks like it will snow in Waterford today, not.
