seems to be warmer today in Dublin CC than it has been previously. Was just out and everything appears to be melting. Hopefully that's the end of that! Doesn't look like it will snow here anyway, all we got was light hail in City anyway.

Keep an eye on Sunday - UKMO has a weather watch out for it:

Also, the BBC precipitation charts look good for most of Ireland on Sunday:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/10209

Has rain turning to snow on Sunday night.

Also has tomorrows front coming down center of country with snow over Kilkenny/Waterford tomorrow evening. We can dream i guess :P

Think so, isn't that the ones that Snowaddict uses?

Think he has been mostly posting ECM precip charts lately.

Interesting that the UKMO should issue that update for a warning into Saturday & Sunday..

That ties in with the overnight ECMWF Precip charts suggesting a frontal system will move up from the continent..

    Fingers crossed!

You'd think if that streamer trailed into the Wicklow/Wexfird for a number of hours, amounts could be huge

I've heard stories of the Pembrokeshire danglers that dumped over a foot of snow in a very local region.

Meahwhile, light snow has begun here.

    Wet at the moment though............

Yes - it's stopped here in Bangor now unfortunately - looks very clear out to sea so that might be it for us. Very exciting while it happened though!

I wouldn't be surprised if that snow got over here given its intensity.

Sky news weather has it coming this way, will get work done early in case.
