Whatever snow is on the way will only add to the whiteout here at the minute (West Dublin). The snow that has fallen this mmorning has just added to the thickish snow on ground plus all the ice. RTE shoudl be here!!!!:D

It's moved inland onto the Wexford/Wicklow coastline now...just need it to hold together and keep moving west...c'mon...

Looks like it's going to keep going until late afternoon for everyone from Dublin to south wicklow. Showers will also return towards the weekend for the East coast.

Meanwhile, rain, sleet and snow will push down the west coast tomorrow. It has huge potential to give 3-5cm in the North West in particular and 1-3 along the far west and SW coasts. Hopefully, it pushes further inland in the next run of charts but that brings with it the threat of higher maritime temps, thus reducing the threat of snow.

Do you think us in the mid-west will see some snow out of this system..?? ME make nothing of it... its all about dublin at the minute..!!

Just don't get it. Am looking at the radar and thinking we have to be seeing snow here soon and still really nothing apart from a 10 second light flurry....

If you have snow, enjoy every minute! :)

Heavy snow in Dublin 2. Previous snow had mostly thawed but this is giving the place a good covering!

The phrase 'pissing snow' can be applied to Dublin CC and esp Trinity College. Massive flakes. Awesome!
