3 or 4 inches here in Gorey so far and judging by the latest radar it's not going to stop any time soon.:D
I'd guestimate about 4 or 5 inches in the yard here now too and still pelting it down!!!

not a single flake here overnight and sun dazzling here, non-event going on here so far.

You should get a fall of a cm or 2 from those showers to my north i would say.

Meanwhile everyone to the south could do very well off that big band to my southeast.

My wife called from Blanch. Blizzard-like there. I consider it down the road from here, and it's so sunny here I'd be tempted to sit out in the garden! Only in Ireland...

It's unreal in Blanch! Just gorgeous! I'll try take a pic in a minute. I rang home (Dunshaughlin) and not a sign of it there!

It's mostly hail here in Donabate at the moment. There must be questions regarding schools reopening tomorrow. Given the low temperatures forecast for tonight, can they risk kids making their way along treacherous footpaths in the morning?

Wow, super fine powder now. Finest snow I think i've ever seen. Like icing sugar, really.

    Visibility very poor.

All bright now again at Dublin Airport, though there is a cloud cover. Should we expect another deluge at about 2 maybe?

They just said on the news that a lot of schools aren't reopening and that they're in the process of calling parents. I'd say there'll be very few, if any, schools open until Monday. Lucky kids!
