Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

STILL no let up from this one here, temp now 0.9C/-0.4C went out for a walk but it's not really accumulating, just slushy squelchy stuff on the ground, if it had been accumulating properly it's chucked down a fair few inches worth in the last hour or two though!

Is that band on the east coast expected for this evening?
    Am I reading that right?

Swords as it was 2mins ago, more hail starting now

Check out that big black/grey cloud, some lucky folks going to get dumped on by that

Can't believe the size of the hail stones that fell a few minutes ago, massive things... alarms going off around the place now too.

a few cm's fallen here near Duleek in the last 30 mins. Slowing a bit now but there's no break in the cloud and it's very dark. No thunder though. For once I didn't want anything like this because the missus is in work and it was tough enough getting out of our road this morning without this. Just hope she can get home later

The Rainfall map shows atmospheric pressure and 3 hour rainfall accumulations (in this case 1-4pm). The colour key is in millimetres (mm)

Avoid Watling Street in D8. Cars are stalled on it unable to go up it.
