Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Blackburn/Villa is officially gone and I've just heard that the City/United first leg will be going the same way shortly with the first leg now to be played on January 19th.

    Feckin snow

Not 100% but a fairly reliable ITK says we can expect an official announcement shortly.

Apparently the weather is making it too difficult for all the reds travelling up from London ;):D

The only available date is early February I believe.

Manchester Airport has reopened so maybe there is a bit of hope, though reading some posts on other forums it's pretty bad there.

See we knew this was gonna happen thats why we lost to Leeds thought we would need that FA Cup weekend free, but noooooooooo you lot had to go and win. Pricks.

At a guess I would for Wednesday the 3rd for the United v City game, and Tuesday the 2nd for Villa.

You can't have the first leg after the 2nd leg or the advantage is lost.
Villa-Blackburn match is supposedly on next week, although what day is not known.

edit: Why can't both matches be played next week?
edit more: I think I see why now, bit of a pain in the balls.

Manchester City's Carling Cup semi-final with Manchester United tomorrow has been postponed due to heavy snow.
Although the first-leg tie was not due to be played at Eastlands until tomorrow evening, there was no prospect of the game taking place due to the weather conditions in Manchester overnight and officials have called the game off.
The tie will now take place on 19 January, which was originally the date for the second leg. That match will now take place on Wednesday, 27 January.

I know it would screw up home advantage in first leg and all that,

but surely moving both legs now because of this week will cause more disruption than just moving the initial leg 1 ties?

Would many fans not already have booked flights or hotels etc?
