Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

File comparision software

    Hi All

    I need to get some information on good quality software for comparing files (ie, comparing excels sheets) Any one any ideas?

    What is it that you want to compare? (for example) Do you just want something to say "these files are exactly the same" or "these files are different"?

    Lets say I wanted to compare two files, File A has company name and address with a unique Identifer, file B has company name, address and contact details.

    I want to do a lookup and populate file be with the Unique identifer from file A.

    The problem that I have is taht if the comapny name is slightly differant or address lets say is slightly differant then that is where I have my problems.

    I am looking for S/W that can do 80%, 90% searches

    I hope I am making sense
