Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

independant landrover specialist -- midlands

    hi,
    does anyone now of an independant landrover mech in the midlands. i need someone who has the proper rover testbook computer or an equivelant. a normal oobd scanner wont do and the nearest main dealer is galway.

    Not aware of any good indies in Ireland but I have this from a fellow member on an rrs forum I used to be part of: -

    I do believe in having a car looked after by a main dealer, as they are usually right up to date with any service bulletins & any manufacturer issued updates that might be required on an ongoing basis. Something that an independent dealer just doesn’t have access to, no matter how good they are. Similarly with the brand specific diagnostic computer, that is used during service for fault logging & updating the cars various control software. Again this is very much the preserve of a main dealer.

    I live near Kilkenny & have used Young Motors as my Land Rover dealer for several years now & find their service department second to none.
