I dunno why people bother Q'ing have the ticket's ever run out?

I never Q'ed the 4 years I was there and always got tickets from the SU office an hour after they had finished up selling them in the MPC, they even remove the restriction on how many you can get as well.

I got 4 wedding tickets without bother one year ages after everyone had spent 3 hours Q'ing

All day wedding tickets were sold out while people were queuing.

The day part is the only part worth going to anyway :D

You'd still get into Silence that night no bother I'd imagine.

25 min isn't too bad, 3 hours is what I've been hearing from people who Q'ed from the start

There is no way silence will be letting any more in , reason been that 1400 tickets were sold for the day and evening part. They cant hold any more.

I queued for about 15 mins at about 4 and the only ones sold out were the full day tickets. The seperate ones were still there

Just for the record I put this as a sarcastic post. I have no problem people getting new cars, everyone does it at some stage or another and at no point did I state that the college or the union purchased the lads cars so if I'v pissed someone off (which I know I have) I apologise.

Bloody brill. Really good gig. I went to Charlie's after Brewbakers and we planned on going to Ridley's at 12.30 when the Hen night party was over but the Stag Party people got to Ridley's before us, about 300 horney fellas at the door of Ridleys, they locked the doors and the Guards came! They eventually opened the doors and started letting people in. I wasn't bothered queuing!

I've not done anything for Rag Week thus far. I've been at home all week being addicted to The Soprano's. I'm heading up on Thursday though for Republic Of Loose but I think I'll be heading to Amber instead of Silence that night.

I usually have a better night in Amber than Silence anyway. Mainly cos I'm there and I ooze coolness.

Might head to Amber instead. Anytime Silence have a big ball on there I always have a great time there.

Roll on random house parties too. :)

taken from an email sent by students union this morning:

    Unfortunately I have some
bad news. I just got word that Mr. Hudson is backing out of the rag ball
as he has to fly to America to record with kanye west and jay-z.
Unfortunately a clause in all contracts with big stars is that they can
back out at any time regardless of how close it is to the gig. We have
really been screwed over here. We were very excited about him performing
    live.

However we have managed to get a World class replacement. We are flying ex
prodigy Dj leeroy thornhill over from Milan to do a set for us at the rag
ball. He is world renouned for his legendary djing. Also on the night we
have a coyote ugly show ( not to be missed). We also have snake charmers,
dancers, contorsionists, fire breather, c02 freeze jets, sky trackers, a
professional drummer to greet you, UV paint, dancers and over €2,000 worth
of giveaways which include notebooks, iPods, plasma tvs, mobile phones
    etc.

sounds kinda splendid to this maverick renegade!

I hate all that ****, no place in a night club!
