    hello, statred a thread in ri, got some wonderful
    responses from posters and mods, the computer i use
    at work at least twenty people have access to it
    so someone used it so the same ip address and now
    i've been banned. i genuinely did nothing wrong
    and think it's very unfair as i said i'd let some of
    the posters know how i got on. thanks

    also just wondered is there any way i could prove it.
    i abided by all the rules was referred to this by
    moderator nesf.

    From where I'm sitting, having sifted through the records I have access to (and as it happens, reading all posts by both accounts in question), it looks extremely likely that you have been doing precisely what the RI mod reckoned you were doing. As it stands, you haven't been banned from RI (edit: my mistake, there's a 7 day temporary ban) so I'd say that you're being given some leeway on one account - that account being the one you're currently using.

    I don't see any reason to overrule the decision or revisit it with the information I have.

    thanks for your advice
    although i genuinely only
    held one account the only
    possible conclusion i could come
    to is someone at work/home
    was messing with me.

    understand the mods have a job to do
    and if thats how it appears i fully understand
    if there was some form of proof i could submit i would
    but there probably isnt so i'll sort it out
    with other people who have access
