So is anyone getting this game? Been looking at a few reviews myself but i'm just thinking that with Dante's Inferno and GOWIII on the way this will just be a meh experience... That and the fact that with all the great titles coming out in the next 2 months i'm gonna be strapped for cash...

You'll have a wait for GOW3 its not due at the earliest until xmas , original rumour was it wouldn't arrive until next gen :eek:

Really been looking forward to Darksiders, will definitely be buying the game.

Im intrigued about the 4 horsemen as well for some reason. morbid morbid.

Not much out till Mass Effect 2 so gonna grab this, Zelda-like games are rare outside of Nintendo consoles.

GAME refused to sell me this unless I either had a pre-order or traded in a game, so I went around to HMV and got it for a fiver cheaper

Did you ask why? I got it in game for 45€ today without a hassle and I expected none,thee was no hype behind this so theres no need for a pre-order. Maybe that specific GAME just wasn't given enough stock

Yeah, they said it was due to stock. I guess they felt the could guarantee a trade-in sale so they didn't need my business. I'll bear their lack of need in mind in future.

And I would say it's worth a buy. It is clearly cartoon-goth-wow zelda mixed with some god of war, but it's quite fun.

Yeah sure I wouldn't shop there anymore if they said that to me, if they had pre-bookings for all their stock then they shouldn't have put any of the cases out on the shelf.

Anyway,yeah game looks great,been waiting to get this for a long time, they had a video of it at a gaming convention a while ago and that looked awesome. Hopefully the patch for it to clear up the graphics problems will be released soon.

Yep, really enjoying it myself too. Seems to have snuck up unannounced but it's the perfect balance of Zelda/DMC gameplay.

Not really relatable to DMC, few combos and a slightly iffy control system that buffers in commands when you don't want it to, its closer to god of war. Still a very enjoyable game though.

Game just specialise on having something on the shelf and then be out of stock, stopped going there ages ago because that happened me a few times. Cracking game, just fighting the 3rd demon boss now. love the way you have to go back to levels to get certain items with your new power ups.

Great game. A great mix of GOW style fighting and the zelda puzzle\level design.
At the moment I'm glad I got it instead of Bayonetta as you don't spend 99% of the time button bashing.

How many hrs did it take ye to complete?

I'm only about 4 hours in but I've read it takes about 15 hours to complete.

Less than 10 hours if you just do the neccessary stuff.
I've a few of gaps in my inventory but the game gives you more than enough to easily go through it.
Once you get immolation, the fights with larger/stronger enemies become a non-event.

[edit] This was my completion time, i didn't really do anything or go anywhere that wasn't required.

I heard 15 to 20, i'm just on the 3rd demon and i'm about 13 hours into it. 1 more demon to go then the boss level. there's alot of backtracking in it, as you get mores abilities as you go through the game and have to back track to levels where there was an obstacle blocking a path\treasure before.

Anyone have any idea whats up with that joker looking dude that pops up now then, fights a bit then buggers off. comes across him 3 times now, no idea what he does or who he is.

Its just an easter egg put in there by the developers. You don't get anything special for killing him.
