slightly OT: The North Face (film)

Just watched the North Face (2008) an amazing piece of film making, but really grim. It's about a failed attempt on the north face of the Eiger in 1936. I'd also read The White Spider a few years ago, a really powerful book - you could almost smell the rotten rock and feel the cold. Anyway, that's put me off going outside…
