YOUNG CITY PLUMBER JAILED FOR GARDA ASSAULT

January 6, 2010 - 9:16am A young city plumber has been jailed for 5 months for a vicious attack on a Garda.
23 year old Dean O'Brien of 16 Droim Chaoin, Rahoon pleaded guilty to resisting and obstructing Garda Eoin Griffin at Eyre Square three years ago.
He also pleaded guilty to being drunk and to breaching the peace on the same occasion at Galway District Court this week.

The assault happened 3 years ago ffs, why did it take so long to get to court? I wonder when he will be in court again for hios most recent assault over Christmas. No doubt he'll have time to attack someone else prior to his next court appearance.
