So I'm running on the new Ubuntu distribution, I have and Nvidia GeForce GT 220 with the recommended driver(version 185)

    I'm still stuck with 800x600 resolution when I have a 22" screen that can handle 1920x1080 (DELL ST2310) using a D-Sub connection.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem. I'm sick of these giant letters.
