This episode (Santuary) is repeated tonight on RTÉ2 @ 12:15am.
I've set the Sky+ to see what the fuss is all about. :)

I had to watch so much of this episode from behind my hands! I realy think they managed to create the right tone of suspense. I was on the edge of my seat, when I wasn't hiding behind it :pac:

I am really, really hoping Sloan and Lexie get together. I love them as a couple!

Oh ditto Tillygirl, didn't see that one coming! I really loved the twist too when they were in the OR, was convinced the person they were operating on was a gonner!

Would really love to see Lexi and Sloane together too, they're such an unlikely yet cute couple!

Agree Meredith can be so whiney sometimes, like hello if I was married to Dr. Dreamy (even only with a post-it note) I'd be walking around with a permagrin

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 21,634 ✭✭✭✭Richard Dower

You know Dr. Dreamy is a real asshole in real life right?

I seen the last four eps. - what are y'all smoking?....the only one i like is April, Ellen Pompous looks really REALLY old as does Sandra Oh-My-God (the bags under her eyes), sweet jesus girls.

Put some slap on, Lexi....hmmm, she looks like a pornstar, and then Nora gets killed??????...bloomin' 'ell Nora (RIP).

Twas dreadful, four episodes....i felt like putting a gun to my head, it was sheer torture to sit through it, i could rant all day on Greys, i really could.....but i need to take a dump.

Song of the Siren by the Mortal Coil. It's a Tim Buckley cover.

Great ending with brillant writing as usual, tho i thought Eoin and Leddy were gonners and Richard at the end, i presume Richard will be back as chief now Dereck is out for a while.

Back tomorrow night on RTE 2 with a double episode

Loved that quote at the end...:)

Meredith: When we say things like "people don't change" it drives scientist crazy because change is literally the only constant in all of science. Energy. Matter. It's always changing, morphing, merging, growing, dying. It's the way people try not to change that's unnatural. The way we cling to what things were instead of letting things be what they are. The way we cling to old memories instead of forming new ones. The way we insist on believing despite every scientific indication that anything in this lifetime is permanent. Change is constant. How we experience change that's up to us. It can feel like death or it can feel like a second chance at life. If we open our fingers, loosen our grips, go with it, it can feel like pure adrenaline. Like at any moment we can have another chance at life. Like at any moment, we can be born all over again.

For some reason the UPC box didn't record both of tonight's episodes. Anybody know if it's on late some night before next Tuesday?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 699 ✭✭✭okiss

If you look up rte.ie and go to the player section. Look under G and you will find it there. All shows on Rte player are there for a month after they air.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,822 ✭✭✭podge018

cheers, it's not for me though, and it wasn't going to be watched for a month so I don't think. The gf is only working her way through the boxset of Series 6. I have the first six episodes recorded, tonight was 7 and 8, will record 9 onwards hopefully, wanted to fill the gap by catching the repeats.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 128 ✭✭Gottalovegreys

My stupid UPC box didnt record either!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 49 philkelly32

the used to repeat them on late fri night not sure if they still do though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,822 ✭✭✭podge018

wonder why it didn't record, would it be to do with the double episode? Although I checked yesterday evening and it was set to record both of them. Bit of a disaster. So no repeats?

  • Registered Users Posts: 505 ✭✭✭annieoburns

Yes same here, could have sworn I had set up to record the first of the double set. I looked for repeat on RTE but none showing for this week? the series is on another station (Living and Living+1 etc) and they are behind RTE especially so now with double episode. Episode 7 is on tonight at 10 pm for example.

tvnow.ie is useful website for what is on can do a search for you of all channels that week for a particular program.

I don't know about RTE but it's a week behind on Living on a Tues night. I missed last week's on RTE so now catch it on Living.

Is there really a need for separate Grey's Anatomy threads about the show on Irish tv surely one is enough to cover the everything i.e. the show and times etc.

Yeah but a question was asked when was it repeated. The OP got abuse from the people who replied for watching the show. Now it is in the Fans thread and I don't think worthwhile slagging off such a bad (an awful) (my god how did this get commissioned) (why are the showing this) (what the hell are they doing in a mall talking about mall people) (how is this drama) in a Fans thread.
