    Any help with Schools that are open or closed?

    Ballyconnell and all schools in Tullow. Pegging snow in Tullow here now.St Lazerians special school closed too.

    I don't see the problem?I work in learning support and we are the SET (special ed teachers)

    I would be surprised if any of the schools open before Monday week. Even if it stop snowing - the roads are still lethal with the ice. I thought the primary schools in the town could open (before this snow), but someone pointed out that none of the teachers would be able to travel to the school.

    I wonder will the kids be getting an extra long xmas holidays.....

    I tihnk RTE was compiling the list from local radio websites, local radio here has no details on their site.

    Carlow's local radio station KCLR is giving constant updates re schools and you will find the info on www.kclr96fm.com - click on the info button. All schools have been very good in liasing with us to ensure we've the most up to date info ;@)
