A Polish friend of mine told me that they know snow is coming if the temperature drops a little suddenly. We'll see.

If ya want to keep the snow watch going this UK met office radar gives a good idea of where the snow is falling. By the looks of it Dublin is getting hit at the moment.

It was snowing until about 11 this morning, a flurry in the afternoon, and has gotten steadily heavier since around 7. Coming down a fair bit now.

Further wintry showers mainly in eastern and and southeastern counties Saturday night then, sleet and snow developing more widely across the country during Sunday and into Monday, giving falls of 5 - 10 cm in places, with Munster and Leinster most at risk.

Frosty, icy conditions persisting throughout on a widespread scale. Freezing fog lifting Saturday night or early Sunday as winds freshen.

The difference tonight here is that the wind has picked up. I think we're getting what is being sent over from the UK and Europe. What they are saying is that the wind is likely to send it across the country unlike last week so Waterford should see a few flakes.

I saw about 5 flakes earlier on standing outside work (IDA) and nothing since. But my family in Tipperary are up to their eyeballs...goddamnit I want some bit of sneachta!
