fair play. nice prize indeed. unfortunately it's nigh on impossible to see the winners on the pix.ie site. I'll just assume that the winning entry had absolutely nothing to do with the competition theme and that the judges are all gimps

I thought so too and I read it about 3 times, go to pix.ie. Search with the words "Ho Ho" and its on the second line of photos that are returned (at least i'm making an assumption that this is it with the description on the competition page)

Before anyone says anything, these things are a lottery and I know it probably wasn't the best photo, probably not even the best photo I submítted.

I'm glad to have won obviously, but even more glad that it's a B/W street photo. So those taking the unglamorous end of photography keep it up.:D
