Spa's / restaurants in Stillorgan, Dublin

    Hi all,

    Bringing our 6mth preggers sister to Dublin in a couple of weeks. We're staying in Stillorgan park hotel, but Im looking for any recommendations of any spas near enough to stillorgan but not in the hotel.

    Also, any nice restaurants nearby?

    Edit : anyone been to Casanova Ristorante Italiano on Lower Kilmacud Road?

    your fairly near to blackrock so take her to restaurant di roberto on goerges place, its a nice italian. there is a spa in the hotel called the withe pebble

    afaik, there's a spa in the Stillorgan Park Hotel

    Wanna get out of the hotel for the day so hoping there's a different spa nearby, the one in the hotels a bit pricey as well!

    There's a nice chinese restaurant called Gong on the Lower Kilmacud Road, just opposite the Stillorgan Shopping Centre.

    Not very busy in there these days, its closed down.

    Westwood gym in Leopardstown has some sort of spa/womens thing on their premises. I don't know if you need to be a member to avail of it though.

    It's only a short 5-10 min drive from Stillorgan village, however the roads around the gym are treacherous with ice I hear. So be careful.

    The Stillorgan Orchard in Stillorgan village has a really nice restaurant and also good, tasty pub grub. Also, Itsa which is nearby in Sandymount does delicious food. There are also numerous good places up the road in Ballsbridge, including Al Boschetta (Italian) and Siam Thai (Thai). The Miller's Kitchen, a little further up on Baggott St is also worth checking out for good pizza without the hassle of going into town.
