    Hi there,

I have been running a Dell laptop into a HDMI ready 27" screen. I going to buy one of those Aldi desktops tomorrow and it has a HDMI out. I've been looking at switch boxes on the web but can't see one that allows both VGA and HDMI..

Would be grateful of any help.

    cheers

This is a 2port HDMI/KVM switch, pretty pricy though at 229$

Don't most HD Ready tv's have more then One HDMI in?

If so you can just switch the channel over.

    aldi pc: dvi/vga/hdmi
your laptop: vga out (at least)
hd ready tv: hdmi (one or more) / vga or dvi + the other AV connections... so, you're sorted.. just make sure you have the cables.
