Does anyone know if any schools in Kilkenny and surrounding areas are closed for tomorrow-Thursday and Friday?

Just seen on Facebook, people saying that possibly Kierans and the Model School -Primary is close are closed tomorrow -but don't take my word for it!!

Just making a thread cos every other region seems to have a thread!

Heard something there on the news, I think schools out tomorrow but check out the news, when I was a kid I used to remember at 8am listening to KCR waiting eagerly to hear if school was out.

Edit: just found a list of confirmed closures, non in KK.

CBS is closed for definite, not sure about the others

CBS primary is open,CBS secondary is definitely closed,Presentation in Loughboy is closed, think Gaelscoil in loughboy is open as is castlecomer community school. Got all this from KCLR earlier on.

I was listening to KCLR earlier (haven't done that in a good few years). All the primary schools are closed, and they listed out (all, I think?) the secondaries except for Kilkenny College.

there is one mention of Kilkenny (Coláiste Cois Siúire, Mooncoin) but not a single mention for the entire county of Carlow.

Yep. Looks like most schools closed. Was just listening to KCLR myself, first time in ages as well.
