Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

This may seem like a stupid question but my mate bought a Fujitsu PC that came with a 'Windows 7 OEM Operating System 64 bit - Recovery DVD'. Now he wants to put XP on his computer so he gave it to me to use. However I need to know would this work on my PC as a install if I booted my system from the CD?

I have Vista and my system is custom built ie Ggiabyte Case, Gigabyte motherboard, Rapor HD etc

Anyone know if this would work?

    Thanks

OEM = tied to hardware. We cannot say that (in theory) it would work using the serial number he was given, but you'd need to download drivers... some manufacturers have methods of preventing this though.
