Annamoe January 7th The Morning After

Heres a few pics I took this morning hope you like them.
Theres about a foot of snow lying in the fields here.

Road to Laragh, ploughed and gritted , passable with extreme care.

Field where i measure snow depth, was 25cm this morning , Scarr in the backround right.



Looking back towards my house



My nemisis, the road is ploughed and got down it but couldnt get back up. Had to be pulled from a drift by a farmer after one particular disasterous attempt.

Great stuff, 30cm is decent, do you know how many cms fell yesterday?

Amazing pictures, must really be stunning living up there... although obviously not without some difficulties, which I'm sure you can live with!

Was all set this morning to go to Glendalough but car trouble decided otherwise - Sorted now so a 10am departure tomorrow!

There was about 6cm overnight and around 20cm or so during the day i'd guess

Beautiful light, are people really getting up the hill on the main road? And are people managing to get around the corner on the reverse journey?

How Strange

Some fantastic pics there Supercell. Annamoe village looks amazing. The folks are snowed in about 5 miles from you and said the hill in front of their house would be great for skiing at the moment. If you could get up there of course. :rolleyes:

Thanks, no way am I of the same calibre of the people posting there, am more of a point and shoot guy. How do you know its a DMC-LX3 ???!!

It's embedded in the file, there's loads of info like ISO and contrast in there if you check the properties.
