i want to create an er diagram in ms access and when im trying to create the realtionships between the linking tables - it wont allow me to create a one to many relationship. I have not created the real database in ms access, i did that in phpmyadmin so maybe i have not created it right in ms access. The table i want to make the relationship to have 2 primary keys. Does anyone know of an easier way to create the er diagram. We can hand-draw it but i think it would look better done with some program. Any suggestions??? Thanks.

I am not aware of any way to create an ERD in MS Access (bar actually creating the database).

    Try Power Architect. It's free.

Its been a long time since i used relationships in ms access. There is a way you can do what you want. Have you tried right clicking the line between the relationships. If my memory serves me right, i think that was how it was done. It's been a few years so i cannot help you further. I may be wrong.

Dia is great for drawing class/ER diagrams:)
It has UML support built in, and can handle trivial
    drawings like network schematics.

Good tool for documentation, without the extra overhead
associated with monster tools like Rational Rose or ERwin.
Not as featured as the above though much, much smaller.
