Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Try the Donnelly motor group in Enniskillen, My brother got his VW there and they were very helpful and used to dealing with Irish buyers.

I have also brought two cars back from the UK and there is a great sense of satisfaction once you get it back and you know how much you have saved on it.

By getting a UK spec VW you will get alot more extras then you would on an Irish model but depending on its age you may have to pay VRT on those extras so make sure you get the exact model of the car and check the VRT on it. They inspect the car but its unlikely.

Not sure if there is any difference for a commercial vehicle though.

The VRT will be €50 if you commercialise it prior to registering it.
