Yeah online is such a pain. I'll usually alternate between Akuma and Dan now just to keep myself from taking it too seriously. So many evenings I've just wanted to be able to walk out to an arcade and play a few games on a SFIV cab.

I've stopped playing online altogether.

If someone sees me online and wants a player match then by all means send an invite, but I'm sick of random matches with lag. Doesn't teach you anything other than lag tactics.

I got beat by a guy who did almost nothing other than LP SRKs because you can't punish them online.

I'm worried playing online will give me bad habits tbh (99% of people online can be beat by sonic boom crFK repeat).

no way i can make it up this week, but i'm gonna try to go up in the next few weeks, got another sega saturn usb, so have good execution for fadc combos atm, though it'll probably break, just like the last 4 i got off ebay

online is fine if you have some good opponents, ideally from the UK, France, Germany, or NE America

i have access to some good text chats where gamefaqs and SRK folks frequent, with some great players there, it helps keep the online thing fun

and yeah, lag lp shoryu spam is horrible, but as a gief main, i don't really have the moral high ground!
