Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

I am going to have a look at one of these at the weekend. Car is a 2005. Engine is 2.0HDi mated with a tiptronic gearbox. Mileage is about 90k.

What are peoples opinions on them, are they reliable?

The use ther same engine as the 407 which are pretty good...:)
    I'd say...
    Good points..
    1)Comfortable.
2)Alot of kit for the money.
3)the can be picked up cheap.
    4)Nice auto box.

    Things not so good.
1)Dpfs may need attention at around 100k if it has one (if it has a dpf that goes for most modern diesels today.)
2)With the autobox the mpg works out around the 40mpg or less..
3)Egr valves can give trouble...but again that goes for most modern diesels today.
3)Lose money over night...but that goes for most cars today..:)

Maybe we have a few C5 owners here who maybe able to give there
    options....:)
    Ron.
