Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,
Missus cant drive tommorow, so wants to get the bus. Shes out in Lucan/Clondalkin. About 5 minutes from Ronanstown/Penny Hill. She needs to get to Blanch shopping centre. Anyone know what route to take? I know the 239 goes from Liffey Valley, but I know there is one closer, but just cant think what the number is!

    Thanks in advance :)

Besides the 239, the other bus in that area going to Blanch is the 76A. But I wouldn't bank on either of those routes running reliably tomorrow due to the weather conditions.

Keep an eye on the Dublin Bus website.

Thanks Bazzer. The 76A runs up through Ballyfermot and out passed Liffey Valley as far as I know. All the routes are messed up at the moment. Almost contemplating going from Clondalkin/Fonthill train to Heuston, Luas to Connolly, then train from Connolly to Castleknock!

You could also try the train to Heuston, then walk a short distance to Blackhall Place, just off the North Quays. The 39 bus will then bring you right into the Blanch Centre, but this is the worst route in the city, subject to major delays.

A much better option is the 70 bus from the same stop, if you can time it. It will leave you just a 5-minute walk from the Shopping Centre, much more quickly than the 39 - and much less crowded too! :)

Thanks for that. I shall let her know :)
