Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Given that most of the cold weather comes from the North, they are going to be bad all the way with side roads being worse. You should move fine just not at normal M 1 speeds. Gritting and road care in the North has been better as they are used to heavy snow every year so it should be good but again not as good as normal.

If you can avoid traveling it makes sense to stay put, especially if it's just a trip to the shops ;)

If you've a brain in ur head and know how to drive properly it's 120kmh all the way. Been up and down it the past few days and no issues except for idiots crawling along at 30kph in the overtaking lane now and again. Really don't know what all the fuss is about this cold snap. i haven't come to one area yet where I have not been able to travel. Granted some places your speed is greatly reduced but if your keeping to the main roads it should be fine.

Newry has got off very lightly as regards snow all of the recent snow has come from the east .
I doubt you will have any problems

Once you can get onto the motorway easily enough it's all clear. Keep the speed down and you'll still be there not much more than an hour after hitting the M1.
