Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A Campos classic!

Why did Jorge Campos always have to wear size XL when he was only a little fart of a man?? :pac:

He started off as a striker, so maybe the first time he went in goal he was given the normal keepers jersey at the time and just got used to it?

Other keepers that used to be strikers.

    Peter Schmeichel...

That's all I can remember right now.

I remember a Dutch jersey I think it was from the 94 world cup that was cool, it was white with like orange dripping down the jersey. Anyone else remember that one?

So he'd look bigger and hence be more intidating to the oncoming striker?

This has the exact same design as the Man utd blue jersey from the 97/98 season.

little useless factoid here, the point of the stupid designs/mental colours that Schmeichel/Campos/Rossi used in their keeper jerseys was something to do with how the brain processes colours/shapes and was ment to be extremely off putting for the oposition players.

Load of balls, but there ya go.

That was the crap Chelsea/Cech were spouting about their illuminous orange... yoke. I was tempted to say jersey there but changed my mind.

Hull City again, I see a pattern developing, or is it just that I've been staring at this magic eye style top for too long?

No matter how crazy/colourful a shirt can be, you simply cant beat a jersey in the 1990s which manages to get a swastika on it !
