As you can see, it's like the Ice Age! The West of Ireland is not so bad in parts though. Britain is almost completely white barring a few isolated coastal areas:

Why are the (southern) western isles of Scotland snow free?

Or why did it not snow there.

Is it the highlands robbing all their snow?

It's NASA. There's no concept of country from space. It's just showing the snowed over regions. The west of Ireland is not snowed under now.
