Great list. Lots of thought gone into it and plenty of variety too.

A lot of these wouldn't be my bag at all - I think there's only three or four that would be on my list too - but it's quite diverse, with good comments. It's interesting that you acknowledge you don't necessarily listen to a few of them much anymore, but that they're included in the list because you liked them a lot at the time.
Given the marginal crossover with some of the albums on the list, I'm a bit surprised you don't include anything by Phoenix - United or It's Never Been Like That would get my vote. Also, I think The Sophtware Slump by Grandaddy would fit right in, and given your occasional prog-rock tendencies, you might like The Tall Ships by It Bites.

Thanks, actually I have the Sophtware Slump and thought it was only OK. It certainly wouldn't have made my list thought, it didn't really do it for me.

Never really heard much of Phoenix - I've heard a few things but nothing I thought was amazing. I'll look into them again though.

There are several albums bubbling under the surface, I could've extended the list but then I might have been adding things just for the sake of it.

I know it's (half) cheating, but considering you've got the Liverpool Sound Collage in it, I'd nominate The Beatles' Love. Also, given your inclusion of Múm and Stina Nordenstam, I'm wondering if Fisherman's Woman by Emiliana Torrini is one of your "bubbling under" albums?

The Campfire Headphase was the only one I very much agreed with, quoted that as one of my favourite 20 of all time the other night.
